Below is the Week 10 Bruin Rooting Guide. We will rank the games in order of importance to Bruin fans – from least important to most important to game of the week. We handled the Sun Devils at home and now with an Arizona loss, we “control our destiny” in the South with a lowly Colorado team coming to Pasadena.

#17 Cincinnati @ East Carolina
The Bearcats are coming off a bye and look to hold onto their lead in the East division as they face off against the Pirates. No changes here in our rooting interest – Go Bearcats.
Arizona vs Oregon State
Following the loss to Stanford, Sumlin fired his former DC Yates is a sign of panic in Tuscon. It’s not going to get much better for a while and they have a pretty decent offense coming in on Saturday looking to continue their streak. We want Arizona to win this game so they can still have a chance to be bowl eligible before their schedule kicks it up a notch.
USC vs #7 Oregon
Both teams had thrillers this past weekend as they required a comeback to pull out a win. The Ducks travel to LA to face a Trojans team that usually wins these type of games. However, given the injuries to USC, we hope Oregon goes on to defeat Troy. This game will be happening at the same time as ours, so make sure to have an extra screen nearby.
GOTW: Washington vs #9 Utah
Game of the week features our next opponent, Utah, after we both have byes next weekend, so this is a scouting game as well. Utah completely dominated Cal in a shut out on Saturday, but they are on the road against a talented, rested Husky team which is looking for a statement win following their heartbreak loss to Oregon. It may not be popular amongst our Bruins, but we want Utah to win in a close one for the sake of Pac-12’s national rep before the first playoff rankings. Utah has to make sure they don’t have a let-down game.
